Alex Wimberly was installed as the minister of McCracken Memorial in early 2007, but served as the seminary intern for McCracken from 2001-2002. An American from the state of Indiana, he is the son, grandson and great-grandson of Presbyterian ministers. Alex would consider himself first and foremost a minister, though he would also describe himself as an avid reader, political junkie, and aspiring beekeeper. Alex met his wife Kiran Young Wimberly, at Princeton Seminary and she is currently the ordained assistant at Hillsborough Presbyterian Church. They are expecting their first child in November.                                                  Convinced that Jesus shows us who God really is and what humanity should be, Alex hopes to lead others in living life as a joyful and fearless response to God's grace.
