Rosemary Simpson was elected Clerk of Session in 1997 and has been a life long member of McCracken Memorial. She grew up in McCracken and has been involved in many of its organisations. These include Congregational, Finance, Functions and Property Committees and she was also a Guider with the Rainbow Guides. She was elected an Elder in 1986. Rosemary trained as a State Registered nurse at the Royal Victoria Hospital, worked in nursing for many years, became involved in the family business and is now Managing Director. Rosemary is involved in wider church activities including South Belfast Presbyterial Committee and PCI Counselling. Her other interests and areas of involvement include Wellbeing Northern Ireland, Association of Inner Wheel Clubs, NI Outward Bound Association, NI Mental Health Association, she was a governor of Richmond Lodge School/ Victoria College Belfast and is a member of Belfast Rotary Club editing their magazine ‘Flash’. However Rosemary’s love of her family has always come first and together with her strong faith in God has sustained her through life’s ups and downs.
